Welcome to this spacious (1,300 sf / 120 m2) and private apartment on the second floor of a two-story building in a convenient area. Three separate bedrooms and two full bathrooms allow good privacy for your group. There is also a living room and eat-in ktichen. No parties, events, or smoking -- strictly enforced. This is the entire second floor of a 2-story building. The first floor is a commercial space and the second floor is a residential apartment. You can walk or drive around the neighborhood quite easily. Please note that the building does not have parking, so if you have a vehicle, you will need to find a safe and secure spot on the nearby streets to park it. Please pay attention to any posted parking restrictions (e.g. street cleaning) as we cannot be responsible for your vehicle parked on the street. Thank you. This is a busy neighborhood with mostly working families living there. There are some restaurants, convenience stores, and supermarkets within walking distance. Newark Airport (EWR) and Manhattan NYC are both accessible by public transportation from this apartment and the journeys take about 50 minutes and 1 hour and 20 minutes respectively using a combination of NJ Transit buses and trains. The amenities that are listed at the time you book the unit are the amenities provided. Please review this list of amenities before booking. Self check-in and check-out are available. There is a lockbox with keys at the entry door to the building. We will send you the code to the lock box on the day of your arrival. The check-in window is 4:00 pm to 11:00 pm. If you are planning to arrive after 11:00 pm, you must clear this with us. No one will be available to support you during check-in if you arrive very late at night (after 11:00 pm) and we will not give refunds if you have issues checking in after 11:00 pm. Early check-in and late check-out are not available. The property does not have luggage storage. Please also note that this apartment is located in an older building. Some recent guests have arrived with higher expectations than what we can provide given the age of the building. The apartment looks like the photos in the listing and we keep it clean. It is a basic space with basic amenities. If you are looking for a functional and competitively priced place with access to New York City and Newark Airport (EWR), this would be a good space for you. If you are looking for a modern and luxury stay, this is probably not the place for you. A few things to know before you book: To keep our homes safe and welcoming for everyone, all guests complete a quick verification before arrival — we’ll reach out by email or text with the simple steps once you’ve booked, so please complete it before you travel. Guests are also asked to either purchase a damage waiver or leave a refundable security deposit, and to sign a short rental agreement. A valid credit or debit card is required; if you’re paying us directly by card, we’ll ask for a photo of the front and back and a signed credit card authorization form, and the name on the reservation, card, and ID should match. Please also have a valid, current government-issued ID ready — if it’s expired we won’t be able to approve the stay, and no refund applies in that case. Additional charges may apply.
