Welcome to this private apartment on the second floor of a 2-story building. The space is approx. 900 square feet (83 m2). There are two bedrooms, each with a queen bed and Roku TV. Living room has a sofa (one person can sleep there) and a Roku TV. Conveniently walkable location near supermarket, restaurants, etc. The apartment is 15 miles from the George Washington Bridge. If you drive, you can reach New York City in 30 mins. Public transit (bus and train) takes about 1.5 hours to reach NYC. The apartment is on the second floor of the building. You will need to walk up stairs to reach the apartment. There’s a private door at the street level so you won’t run into any other building occupants. The apartment has basic amenities and good for tourists, remote workers, business travelers, students, etc. We keep things simple and offer a competitive price. You will have exclusive access to the entire apartment. Mostly families living in the neighborhood. Lots of Latin American influences in the immediate area. Paterson is a very diverse city with lots of variety as far as restaurants, groceries, etc. The amenities that are listed at the time you book the unit are the amenities provided. Please review this list of amenities before booking. Newark airport (EWR) is 19 miles away from this apartment. La Guardia (LGA) is 28 miles away. JFK is 36 miles away. We recommend using taxi/Uber from the area airports. You can reach Manhattan NYC using public transit by using a combination of buses and trains. The journey takes about 1.5 hours. If you drive to New York, it is only 15 miles away, so you can arrive in about 30 minutes. Self check-in and check-out are available. There is a lockbox with keys at the entry door to the building. We will send you the code to the lock box on the day of your arrival. The code will not be sent in advance. The check-in window is 4:00 pm to 11:00 pm. If you are planning to arrive after 11:00 pm, you must clear this with us. No one will be available to support you during check-in if you arrive very late at night (after 11:00 pm). We will not give refunds if you have issues checking in after 11:00 pm. Early check-in is almost never possible and late check-out after 10:00 am is not permitted. We do not have any luggage storage at the building. There is no parking included with this rental (the building does not have a driveway). You may park on the nearby streets, which is free, but you just need to pay attention to the street cleaning signs. The City of Paterson cleans each street one morning per week and those times are posted on signs. We cannot be responsible if you receive a parking ticket. Please ask if you have any questions about parking. Please also note that this apartment is located in an older building. The apartment looks like the photos in the listing and we keep it clean. It is a basic space with basic amenities. If you are looking for a functional and competitively priced place relatively close to New York City and area airports, this would be a good space for you. If you are looking for a modern and luxury stay, this is probably not the place for you. A few things to know before you book: To keep our homes safe and welcoming for everyone, all guests complete a quick verification before arrival — we’ll reach out by email or text with the simple steps once you’ve booked, so please complete it before you travel. Guests are also asked to either purchase a damage waiver or leave a refundable security deposit, and to sign a short rental agreement. A valid credit or debit card is required; if you’re paying us directly by card, we’ll ask for a photo of the front and back and a signed credit card authorization form, and the name on the reservation, card, and ID should match. Please also have a valid, current government-issued ID ready — if it’s expired we won’t be able to approve the stay, and no refund applies in that case. Additional charges may apply.
