About this home

Welcome to this 3,000 sf (280 m2) loft-style apartment in the heart of downtown Elizabeth, New Jersey, USA. It is the entire 2nd floor of a historic building. Sleeps up to 8 people comfortably with four large and private bedrooms. Open kitchen/living/dining room to gather together with your family and friends. Dining table seats 8 people. There are 2 spacious full bathrooms as well. No parties, events, or smoking of any kind -- this is strictly enforced. The apartment is very spacious with ample room for up to 8 people to stay. Each bedroom has its own desk and office chair — perfect for working from home. The direct train to New York is less than a 5 minute walk from this apartment. The journey takes about 30 minutes to reach Manhattan New York City. Newark Airport (EWR) can be reached with this same train and the journey takes about 15 minutes. This building is in the middle of a city and has no parking. There is a public parking garage around the corner where you can conveniently park during your stay. You would need to pay the parking fees directly to the garage. We do not include any parking with this listing and parking is entirely a guest's responsibility. Self check-in and check-out are available. There is a lockbox with keys at the entry door to the building. We will send you the code to the lock box on the day of your arrival. The code will not be sent in advance. The check-in window is 4:00 pm to 11:00 pm. If you are planning to arrive after 11:00 pm, you must clear this with us. No one will be available to support you during check-in if you arrive very late at night (after 11:00 pm), so it will be completely self-service and you will not receive any refund or concession if you cannot check-in after 11:00 pm for any reason. Early check-in and late check-out are not available. There is no luggage storage available at the property. The amenities listed are the amenities currently offered. Please note that this apartment is located in an older building. Some recent guests have arrived with higher expectations than what we can provide given the age of the building. The apartment looks like the photos in the listing and we keep it clean. It is a basic space with basic amenities. If you are looking for a functional and competitively priced (and VERY LARGE) place close to New York City and Newark Airport EWR, this would be a good space for you. If you are looking for a modern and luxury stay, this is probably not the place for you. A few things to know before you book: To keep our homes safe and welcoming for everyone, all guests complete a quick verification before arrival — we’ll reach out by email or text with the simple steps once you’ve booked, so please complete it before you travel. Guests are also asked to either purchase a damage waiver or leave a refundable security deposit, and to sign a short rental agreement. A valid credit or debit card is required; if you’re paying us directly by card, we’ll ask for a photo of the front and back and a signed credit card authorization form, and the name on the reservation, card, and ID should match. Please also have a valid, current government-issued ID ready — if it’s expired we won’t be able to approve the stay, and no refund applies in that case. Additional charges may apply. Have any questions? Just reach out — we’re always happy to help! WI-FI — AVAILABLE FOR AN ADDITIONAL FEE Wi-Fi is not included in your booking. Internet access at this property is offered only as a paid add-on, so please do not plan on free Wi-Fi during your stay. If you would like Wi-Fi, message us before or during your stay and we will send you the current rate and connection details.
